Hey guys, here at KenduriTV there are no specific measurement to all our recipes. You kind of have to wing it and always taste as you go! That makes cooking much more fun & exciting!

Here are the ingredients :
2 Shallots/ Red onion – tbspoon of Blended paste
1 Garlic – tbspoon of blended garlic paste
2 Dried chilli sambal* – tbspoon
2 Sweet soy sauce – tbspoon
2 Dark soy sauce – tbspoon
2 Tomato ketchup – tbspoon
1 Green chilli – chopped
500g egg noodles – blanched in boiled water for 2 mins
1 fried chicken – cut into pieces. Alternatively you can always just use any type of chicken
2 fluffy tofu – chopped
1 potato – boiled and chopped into pieces
1 spinach – 1 cup of chopped greens of your choice.
Season to taste with salt, sugar & pepper.
*Dried chilli sambal is essentially made from Dried chillies boiled in hot water. Drained and blended in the food processor.
– Fry it in a wok with oil on medium heat for about 20-30 mins untill the oil separates and the paste turns dark red. You can also add blended shallots and Belachan (shrimp paste) to enhance flavors. Don’t forget to season with sugar.
-The sambal paste can be stored in a jar and kept in the fridge or freezer and use it as a base for other yummy Malaysian dishes! Alternatively, check your local supermarket or Asian grocers to find ready made sambal which would work perfectly fine 🙂
